Custom Woodworking and Furniture
Live edge slabs, deep pour river tables, built in fixtures, and finish carpentry. We source the timber, mill it, and finish it, so the piece is designed around the slab rather than the slab being forced into a design.
Most furniture is drawn first and built second. A slab does not work that way. The grain, the check, the void, and the live edge decide what the piece wants to be, and the design follows the material rather than fighting it.
We source and mill our own hardwood, with a lot of the work built around live edge black walnut. That means the slab is dried, flattened, and stabilised properly before anything is poured or cut, which is what stops a table from cupping in a dry Colorado winter.

How we do it
Live edge slabs and statement pieces
Sourcing, milling, flattening, and finishing premium hardwood, with a focus on black walnut. Dining tables, conference tables, benches, and mantels.
Deep pour epoxy river tables
Crystal clear or pigmented casts poured deep and bubble free, integrated with the live edge rather than sitting beside it. Colour blending and metallic pigment work to order.
Architectural woodworking and finish carpentry
Framing and structural preparation through to fine trim and floating installations. We are comfortable at every stage rather than only the visible one.
Built ins and spatial design
Structural craft alongside interior design input, so the piece works as the focal point of the room it was measured for. Residential and commercial.
The process
- 01
Consultation
We look at the actual slab. Square footage, moisture, cracks, what is already on it, and what you want the room to do. The estimate comes from that, not from a phone call.
- 02
Design
Colour, finish, and the amount of movement you want in the material. For decorative work we get specific here, because this is the part that cannot be changed later.
- 03
Preparation
Diamond grinding, crack repair, joint treatment, and moisture testing. It is the least photogenic day of the job and the one that decides whether the floor lasts.
- 04
Application
Primer, build coats, and topcoat, installed in sequence with the cure times the manufacturer actually specifies rather than the ones that fit a faster schedule.
- 05
Reveal
We walk the finished floor with you, cover care and cure times, and tell you when it can take furniture and vehicles.
Common questions
- How long does a custom table take?
- Plan on several weeks. Deep pour resin has to cure in lifts, and rushing that is how you get heat cracks and cloudiness. If a slab still needs drying time, longer.
- Can I supply my own slab?
- Yes, and we will assess it honestly first. Moisture content, movement, and voids decide whether it is ready to build with or needs work before it is.
- Will a river table crack or yellow over time?
- Not with the right resin and the right pour schedule. We use UV stable topcoats and pour in lifts so the exotherm stays under control. Cheap resin poured in one hit is what yellows and cracks.
- Gloss or satin?
- Both are available. Gloss shows depth and every fingerprint. Satin is more forgiving on a table that gets daily use.
